She has a background in music performance\, a music business degree and extensive training in harp therapy. A native of Chicago\, Tammy trained under the great orchestral harpists\, beginning study of organ and piano at age three. As a teen she toured abroad with the Chicago Youth Symphony\, spent summers at Interlochen Arts Camp in MI\, and studied harp performance\, production\, and music business\, graduating with a B.A. in Music Business from DePaul University\, Chicago.

DESCRIPTION:Unfortunately\, what LBJ would most be remembered for was the war in Vietnam. He misled Congress into passing the Gulf of Tonkin resolution in 1964\, which gave the President of the United States a freehand in Vietnam. Following his election victory in 1964 against Barry Goldwater\, Johnson significantly increased American forces in Vietnam from 16\,000 to over 500\,000 just three years later. Antiwar protests erupted across many college campuses in the United States\, and the Democratic National Convention in Chicago in 1968 also proved to be a great challenge for the nation.

D. in modern Europe\, modern British and Irish\, and modern Jewish history at Arizona State University\, after earning his B.A. and M.A. from Marquette University. He taught for fifteen years at Marquette University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. \nIn this 4-part lecture series\, we will be focusing on the past\, present and future of Russia and Ukraine. The relationship between Russia and Ukraine has been difficult for decades\, and earlier last year Russia invaded Ukraine in an attempt to destroy Ukrainian independence. The Russian assault led to the largest war and greatest refugee crisis in Europe since World War II. The Russian conquest of Ukraine has been universally condemned by the international community\, led by the United States. In this lecture we will focus on past issues between the two nations\, the war in the present day\, and what the future may hold for the two East European nations.  Lecture dates are September 5\, 12\, 19\, and 26.

DESCRIPTION:LBJ became the new president of the United States following the assassination of John Kennedy in 1963. Johnson had been a most successful politician throughout the 1950s as Senate majority leader. Unlike most US presidents who focused on foreign policy\, Lyndon Johnson was mostly interested in domestic policy. His War on Poverty and Great Society programs significantly reduced the disequilibrium of wealth in the United States. He was also most instrumental in helping to pass the Civil Rights Act of 1964\, which is considered to be the single most important piece of legislation ever in American History.

The relationship between Russia and Ukraine has been difficult for decades\, and earlier last year Russia invaded Ukraine in an attempt to destroy Ukrainian independence. The Russian assault led to the largest war and greatest refugee crisis in Europe since World War II. The Russian conquest of Ukraine has been universally condemned by the international community\, led by the United States. In this lecture we will focus on past issues between the two nations\, the war in the present day\, and what the future may hold for the two East European nations.  Lecture dates are September 5\, 12\, 19\, and 26.
