Join us for a tour of MKE Urban Stables. MKE Urban Stables provides equine-assisted services and programs to youth and veterans.
With the construction complete in May 2020, they became the first facility in the nation to combine equine-assisted therapy, community engagement programs, and mounted police patrol with a total of 24 horse stalls, indoor and outdoor riding arenas, classrooms, and multi-purpose community room.
MKE Urban Stables partners with Rawhide Youth Services and the Zablocki VA Medical Center to provide Equine Assisted Therapy. Participants work with certified instructors, equine specialists and mental health professionals to develop life skills through interactions with the horses.
MKE Urban Stables is the new permanent headquarters for the MKE Mounted Patrol.
