Leadership Team

David has been a leader in the field of aging services for three decades. Early in his career, Dave served as President and CEO of Presbyterian Homes of Wisconsin and served as Executive Director of the National Presbyterian Association of Homes and Services for the Aging which helped guide his career into a development and strategic planning role with Covenant Retirement Communities, where he served in master plan facilitation, project development and operational review roles for a multitude of continuing care communities throughout the United States. Since joining Milwaukee Catholic Home in 2010, Dave has guided MCH through major renovations, the celebration of the organization’s 100 Year Anniversary, and the completion of an intergenerational living community, Trinity Woods. Dave serves as Secretary and Treasurer on the board of the Catholic Ecology Center. Dave and his wife Chris live in Wauwatosa with their two children.

Katie has served in leadership roles in long-term care for over 30 years. She is a clinical consultant, providing support to interdisciplinary clinical teams at Milwaukee Catholic Home, Trinity Woods, Queen of Peace Friary, Our Lady of the Angels, and other senior communities. Additionally, Katie oversees our Trinity Senior Services Care Partner Program, Nurse Aide Training Program, and Rehabilitation Services Therapy Program.

Katie serves on the Mount Mary University Nursing Advisory Board and the Clinical Resource Center Advisory Committee. She is also a member of LeadingAge Wisconsin, the Long-Term Care Nursing Administration Group, and the Wisconsin Director of Nursing Council.

A member of St. Dominic’s Parish in Brookfield, Katie lives in Menomonee Falls with her husband, Scott, and they have two adult children.

Jessica has been an active member in the nonprofit community for over 20 years. Jessica was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She completed her Bachelor of Business Administration – Accounting from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee in 2005 and attained her Certified Public Accounting (CPA) licensure in 2009. She is active in serving on WICPA Educational Foundation Board of Directors and other committees and task forces benefiting the accounting profession, as well as a board member of the school communities in which her children attend. Jessica and her husband Will live in Greenfield with their three children.

Lisa brings to MCH over 20 years of experience working in various leadership positions in human resources. She has worked in a variety of industries including long term care. Lisa is from Wisconsin and attended Divine Savior Holy Angels High School and Marquette University. Shortly after graduating from Marquette University, she moved to Southern California where she lived until her return to the Milwaukee area in 2016.

Michelle has served in various community outreach and marketing roles throughout her career. Michelle began her career with the Milwaukee Brewers and Milwaukee World Festival/Summerfest. She has worked in various roles including community outreach and new business development. Michelle then discovered her passion for senior living and worked in new business development and outreach for senior living and homecare/hospice. Michelle joined Milwaukee Catholic Home as the Community Outreach Director and now serves as Vice President of Marketing and Community Outreach. Michelle connects the community to Trinity Senior Services and helps guide seniors and their families along their aging journey. Michelle and her husband are very involved in their community of Elm Grove and volunteer regularly at their children’s schools.

Jon has been consulting, coaching, and training at the Milwaukee Catholic Home for five years. In February of 2024, he joined the team in a more permeant role as Vice President of Mission Integration and Leadership Development. In this role, he works closely with other key leaders to set the direction, engagement, implementation, and evaluation of the Mission Integration for all of Trinity Senior Services. Jon ensures the company is living out the interests of the organizational mission, vision, and values by developing programs for the leadership team and New Employee Orientation. To further support our mission, he works closely with other leaders in the organization to provide spiritual needs and opportunities for our communities and acts as a Liaison to the Catholic Community.

Jon holds a doctorate in Leadership with a research focus on Catholic leadership and a master’s degrees in both theology and social work. In addition to his work for Trinity Senior Services, Jon is a professor of Theology at Marquette University teaching courses in Foundations of Theology and Social Welfare and Justice, Catholic Social Teaching, Vatican II, Christian Discipleship, and Service of Faith and Promotion of Justice. He has a long history serving in many pastoral roles including a college campus minister, adult formation, and family formation minister which has served him well in his current role with Trinity Senior Services.

Amy has served in healthcare her entire career. Her journey began in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Sacred Heart Rehabilitation Institute where she worked for 12 years. Helping people achieve their full potential and live their best life has been her passion ever since. Amy has been at Milwaukee Catholic Home since 2011, working with an incredible team to design experiences that uplift and inspire – engaging the spirit, mind and body! Her leadership in donor engagement reflects her belief that meaningful relationships and generosity have the power to transform lives! Amy and her husband Bill have three children and live in Whitefish Bay.

Chris brings a focus on customer experience from his prior leadership roles at country clubs in Mequon and Franklin, WI. His innovative approach led to the implementation of a la carte restaurant-style dining in MCH’s skilled nursing facility, and he also oversees Clare Gardens, Milwaukee Catholic Home’s farm to table program and community garden. Chris is a former board member for the Wisconsin chapter of the Club Managers Association of America.

Michele Carlson brings over 25 years of leadership experience to her role as Vice President of Operations and Campus Executive Director at Trinity Senior Services. With a career spanning Executive Director positions in Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care, Michele has overseen communities ranging from 20 to 244 units — including the successful start-up of four brand-new communities from the ground up. Her unwavering commitment to quality has resulted in a deficiency-free survey record in both Assisted Living and Memory Care.

Michele’s dedication and excellence have earned her two Executive Director of the Year awards and Community of the Year accolades. As a Senior Executive Director Mentor at three previous organizations, she has guided and inspired countless teams and leaders in the senior living sector.

At Trinity Senior Services, Michele previously served as Executive Director of Trinity Woods, as well as Human Resources Administrator and Director of Employee Retention and Engagement. In her current role, she continues to drive a culture of excellence, compassion, and innovation across the entire campus.

Originally from Milwaukee’s Southside Airport area, Michele earned her Bachelor of Science degree from UW–Parkside. She’s also an Associate with the School Sisters of St. Francis, reflecting her deep commitment to faith and service.

Outside of work, Michele enjoys all kinds of outdoor activities, especially golfing and fishing. She also loves hitting the road with her husband and best friend of 30 years, Ken. Michele and Ken are proud parents to their son, Jacob, who helps run the family business, KMJ Electrical Contractors, alongside his dad.

Michele’s passion for leadership, mentorship, and creating vibrant senior living communities shines through in all she does at Trinity Senior Services.

Ken Carlson is the Vice President of Plant Operations with a diverse background in operations management, facility maintenance, and skilled trades leadership. With more than two decades of hands-on experience across multiple industries, Ken brings a practical, solutions-driven approach to operational efficiency, team leadership, and facility management.

Ken began his career in operations and logistics, holding roles such as Outbound Coordinator, Freight Assembly Center Coordinator, and Operations Manager, where he developed expertise in workflow optimization, team coordination, and operational planning. In 2002, he transitioned into the electrical trade, gaining extensive experience with electrical systems, facility infrastructure, and maintenance management. In 2020, he became a Licensed Residential Master Electrician and founded KMJ Electrical Contractors, LLC.

Ken also served as Maintenance Director at Wilson Commons, part of Capri Communities, before advancing to Regional Maintenance Director. In these roles, he led maintenance teams, managed facility operations across multiple properties, and implemented strategies to improve building performance, safety, and reliability. Currently, he is an Associate of the School Sisters of St. Francis, a member of the Independent Alliance of the Electrical Industry (IAEI), and is currently working on becoming a member of the Wisconsin Healthcare Engineering Association (WHEA).

Today, as Vice President of Plant Operations, Ken leverages his unique combination of operational leadership, technical expertise, and entrepreneurial experience to drive operational excellence, strengthen infrastructure, and support organizational growth.

Ken Carlson is a graduate of Cardinal Stritch University. He is married to his best friend of 30 years, Michele, and is a proud father to his son, Jacob. Outside of work, Ken enjoys golfing, boating, fishing, and hunting with family and friends.

With more than a decade of experience in senior living, Nathalie Adamonis brings a strong background in experiential marketing and sales operations to her role as Marketing Director at Trinity Senior Services. Over the past 10+ years, she has held various positions across the senior living industry, gaining a deep understanding of what resonates with residents, families, and the broader community.

Nathalie was hired to lead the corporate marketing strategy for Trinity Senior Services and has been instrumental in shaping the organization’s brand identity. She spearheaded the launch of Trinity Senior Services as the parent company for Milwaukee Catholic Home and Trinity Woods, introducing the new name and accompanying website. Today, she oversees all program marketing efforts across the organization and continues to lead a wide range of strategic projects and community-facing events that advance the Trinity mission.

Outside of work, Nathalie enjoys spending time with her husband and two young boys, balancing her creative professional life with the joys of family.

Jackie Grossoehme is a seasoned physical therapist with over 40 years of experience, including more than two decades leading rehabilitation services at Milwaukee Catholic Home. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Madison, Jackie’s career has spanned hospital, outpatient, home health, and skilled nursing settings—where she’s found her greatest passion.

As Director of Rehabilitation Services, Jackie oversees therapy operations for Trinity Senior Services communities. Her responsibilities include staff supervision, patient care coordination, financial oversight, training, documentation review, and outcome management across multiple levels of care. She has led key initiatives transitioning communities from contract therapy to Trinity Senior Services’ in-house model.

Jackie is deeply committed to serving older adults and finds daily purpose in the relationships built through her work. Outside of her role, she enjoys spending time with her three grandchildren and supporting their growth with the same dedication she brings to her profession.

Christine “Chris” Pfankuch brings a unique blend of professional expertise and personal passion to her role as Care Partner Program Director. With over three decades of experience in marketing, operations, and customer service—and more recently, senior care—Chris leads Trinity Senior Services’ Care Partner Program across multiple communities.

In this role, she directs nonmedical supportive living services, develops personalized care plans, ensures seamless collaboration with clinical teams and external agencies, and oversees hiring and training of compassionate caregiving staff. Chris also manages billing operations and maintains close relationships with residents’ families, helping grow the program significantly within her first year.

Chris’s professional journey spans leadership roles in higher education, financial services, marketing, and hospice outreach, most recently serving as a hospice care consultant. Her pivot to senior living was deeply influenced by her personal experience navigating care for her own parents—a journey that inspired her to support other families in similar transitions.

A Marquette University graduate, Chris is deeply rooted in Milwaukee’s Catholic community. She’s a passionate relationship-builder who believes in service-driven care and finds daily purpose in supporting older adults with dignity, empathy, and joy.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys volunteering with local nonprofits, staying active through group fitness, and spending time with her grown children.

Sandy serves as the Administrator of Our Lady of Angels (OLA) And Queen of Peace (QOP), a specialized memory care facility that is run in partnership School Sisters of Notre Dame (SSND) and the School Sisters of St Francis (SSSF) She works closely with the OLA team members to provide compassionate care for the sister’s mind, body and spirit. She has a personal passion working with the SSSF as she is an Associate with the SSSF and has been since 2016 doing community mission work. She invites all volunteers and visitors to experience the joyful community of OLA. 

Sandy has a bachelor degree in Human Resources from the University of WI Stout. She started out her career working in the family business, Pella Windows of North Dakota, with her husband, Mark.  The family business brought Sandy, Mark and their three children to Brookfield WI in 2000. Sandy has served the Senior Living industry for 14 years in various leadership roles and her strengths lie in process improvement, senior outreach and staff development.   

Kate Gerou is a dedicated leader with over 13 years of experience in skilled nursing facilities, bringing a deep commitment to exceptional resident care and staff mentorship to her role at Trinity Senior Services.

Kate’s journey in senior care began as a CNA during her senior year of high school, igniting her passion for serving the geriatric population—a passion that has guided her career ever since. Her dedication and hard work led her to roles as an MDS Coordinator, clinical instructor, and Director of Nursing, where she served for four years. She also contributed as a Clinical Consultant Director, building programs and supporting best practices in senior care settings.

Kate holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Herzing University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Parkside. She is certified as a Director of Nursing Services and as a Wound Treatment Associate, underscoring her expertise and commitment to clinical excellence.

In her current role at Trinity Senior Services, Kate oversees the day-to-day operations of the skilled nursing facility at Milwaukee Catholic Home, ensuring residents receive the highest quality of care and support. Her leadership is marked by a dedication to fostering a compassionate, resident-centered environment where staff feel empowered to excel.

Outside of her professional life, Kate enjoys traveling, collecting antiques, and snorkeling. She resides in a historic home in the small town of Brighton in Kenosha County.

Kate’s unwavering dedication to senior care, coupled with her rich clinical and educational background, makes her an invaluable leader in the Trinity Senior Services community.

Carly Steger brings over 12 years of experience in the senior living industry, with a background spanning volunteering, activity coordination, sales, marketing, and leadership roles. She joined Trinity Senior Services (TSS) two years ago, first as Life Engagement Director at Trinity Woods before transitioning to Milwaukee Catholic Home (MCH) as an Administrator in Training and now Director of Residential Living. In this role, Carly oversees the day-to-day operations of The Residence at Milwaukee Catholic Home, supports the needs of independent living residents and employees, and enhances the resident and guest experience by implementing policies and procedures based on feedback. A graduate of Mount Mary University with a degree in Art Therapy, Carly is originally from Oconomowoc and now resides in Milwaukee’s Riverwest neighborhood with her husband, Ryan.

Tom is a dedicated and experienced leader with over 12 years in the long-term care industry known for his collaborative leadership style, openness to growth, and ability to foster a vibrant, engaged community. His journey began as a volunteer in a skilled nursing facility, where he quickly discovered his passion for senior care. He went on to work as a caregiver and later earned his degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire.

The early part of Tom’s career focused on opening and operating memory care communities across multiple counties, emphasizing whole-person wellness for both residents and their families. In more recent years, he has taken on broader leadership roles, overseeing Assisted Living and Independent Living communities with a strong commitment to exceptional service and customer experience.

Tom currently serves as the Campus Administrator of Trinity Woods, where he manages the day-to-day operations of the entire community. He also provides leadership for Trinity Senior Services’ Transportation Department, supporting mobility and access for residents across all campuses.

Outside of work, Tom enjoys spending time outdoors—gardening, hunting, fishing, and most importantly, playing superheroes and “saving the world” with his young son.

Maureen Robinson brings over 30 years of dedicated experience working within the Senior Living industry. Throughout her extensive career, she has guided countless older adults and their families, helping them navigate complex housing options with empathy and expertise and continues to do so as our Sales & Residential Living Director for Trinity Woods. Her background experience in hospice care and medical billing, equips her with a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare and financial needs that accompany senior living decisions.

In addition to sales, Maureen is our representative at Trinity Woods for the Navigator Program, ensuring residents have a positive experience moving throughout the spectrum of care as healthcare needs change or fluctuate. She plays a crucial role by being the point of contact for family members and residents to ensure quality of stay, communication with other facilities, and problem-solving.

Maureen’s approach is characterized by a genuine desire to help individuals find their “new best life.” She listens attentively to each person’s story and priorities, ensuring their next step feels comfortable and welcoming. Outside of work, Maureen enjoys spending time with her five grandchildren, participating in Bible study, quilting, and knitting.
