Join us for a Fall Getaway on the Great River Road!

Embark on a guided motorcoach adventure along the Great River Road, weaving across the Mississippi River between Wisconsin and Minnesota! Journey through the picturesque rolling hills of the Driftless Region, leading to the breathtaking coulees and blufflands of La Crosse. As we head north along the All-American National Scenic Byway, take in the towering bluffs, sweeping vistas, charming river towns, and fascinating historic landmarks. Along the way, we’ll indulge in the local fare at popular eateries, wineries, breweries, and specialty shops for a truly unforgettable experience.

Wednesday, October 8

• Motorcoach arrives for loading at 7:00am at Milwaukee Catholic Home for 7:30am departure
• Depart Trinity Woods at 8:00am
• 3 hours to LaCrosse through the Driftless Region (restroom break every 1.5 hours)
• Lunch & Tour at Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe
• Drive up Grandad Bluff to see beautiful views of the LaCrosse & Mississippi River Valley
• See the World’s Largest Six Pack
• Dahl Auto Museum
• 6:00pm Dinner at The Freighthouse Restaurant, a historic freight house at Riverside Park
• Overnight in La Crescent, Minnesota

Thursday, October 9

• Breakfast at the hotel & load luggage; depart at 8:45am
• 9:00am Mississippi River Cruise on the LaCrosse Queen Riverboat including Lock & Dam
• Scenic River Tour along the Great River Road between Minnesota & Wisconsin
• Group Lunch
• Lark Toys and Carousel in Kellogg, MN
• 2:00pm National Eagle Center in Wabasha, MN
• Laura Ingalls Wilder Home & Villa Bellezza Winery in Pepin, WI
• Historic Red Wing, Minnesota – Red Wing Boots & Pottery
• Confluence of the Mississippi & St. Croix Rivers in Prescott, WI

• Check-in at the Hampton Inn for overnight in Hudson, WI

Friday, October 10

• Breakfast at the hotel & load luggage, depart Hudson at 9:30am
• 10:00am Historic Stillwater Minnesota Trolley Tour and optional shopping
• Lunch in Stillwater, Minnesota
• Leinie Lodge & Visitor Center at Leinenkugel Brewery in Chippewa Falls, WI
• Back to Milwaukee via I-94 with restroom/snack/fast food breaks on the way home
• Return approximately 7:00pm-8:00pm

Single Occupancy: $775 per person

Double Occupancy: $625 per person

Triple Occupancy: $575 per person

Full refunds will be made if you need to cancel by September 8th, 2025. Cancellations within 30 days of departure are not guaranteed and will be handled on an individual basis. Cancellations within 48 hours of departure are non-refundable. Travel Insurance is completely optional and offered through Travel Insured International.

Luggage is limited to one large suitcase per person plus one carry-on. Carry-on bags may be stored above the seat or underneath the motorcoach, however, will not be included in the luggage handling by the hotel. Luggage tags will be provided.

Early bird registration for TSS Residents opens on Thursday, May 1st, with regular registration opening on Monday, May 12 and closing on Monday, August 25 or when the trip fills up (space is limited to 50 participants). Register early to reserve your spot with a $100 deposit. Full payment is due on August 25th.
