RECREATION THERAPIST & LIFE ENGAGED ASSISTANT

The Milwaukee Catholic Home, a dynamic faith-based, FIVE STAR continuing care retirement community on Milwaukee’s East side, is seeking a Recreation Therapist as part of the Life Engagement Team to plan and organize recreation therapy programs.

The Recreation Therapist or LIFE ENGAGED ASSISTANT will work with our LIFE ENGAGED TEAM by planning and implementing therapeutic and recreation activities for residents that are designed to meet their interests and improve and maintain their physical, mental and psychosocial well-being. This individual will also be responsible for completing MDS and other related documentation. Previous experience in a healthcare Recreation, activity or therapeutic setting is preferred but related therapies are encouraged to apply.

The shifts are Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1 pm to 8 pm and every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) 8:30 am – 5 pm
