Celebrating 10 Years of Clare Gardens with New Orleans flair, local fare, and a mission worth toasting!🎉đźŽÂ Learn More
The busy harvest season at Clare Gardens has come to a close, and Trinity Senior Services is celebrating another successful year—and decade—of sustainably growing 40,000+ pounds of organic produce. After months of hard work and long days in the fields, it’s rewarding to see our efforts come to life and incorporated onto the plates of our senior living residents, staff, and local communities.
Farm Manager Anna reflects on preparing the farm for winter while also sharing the highlights from our Annual Fall Harvest Festivals—events that showcase the harvest, bring the community together, and celebrate the joy of fresh, locally grown food.

Message From Farmer Anna:
As I take a short break from harvesting and washing the 2,000+ pounds of root vegetables headed into winter storage, I find myself reflecting on the bounty of the year.
Something in the weather—and perhaps in our attitudes—shifted in late summer, and I knew the season was turning toward abundance. That abundance was on full display during our Harvest Festival celebrations at Milwaukee Catholic Home and Trinity Woods this past month. Unpacking tote after tote of beets, carrots, radishes, and squash—the colors, the aromas, the oohs and ahhs from excited shoppers—it was complete satisfaction.
It’s always rewarding to hear from line cooks and chefs about how our produce fuels their menus. But nothing beats talking directly with eaters about what they’re creating with our bounty. Building community through food is the heart of this program. It’s a responsibility we take seriously—and a joy we savor daily.
As we turn our thoughts toward kinship and togetherness this season, I am extraordinarily grateful to farm for this community.
Thank you for growing with us!
