Trinity Senior Services Therapy

Helping residents regain strength, confidence, and independence

At Trinity Senior Services, therapy is more than recovery — it’s about helping each resident live as fully and independently as possible. Our on-site therapy team works closely with residents, families, nursing staff, and physicians to create personalized plans that support healing, mobility, and quality of life.

Whether someone is recovering after a hospital stay or working to maintain strength and function, our therapists meet residents where they are — with skill, encouragement, and compassion.

Therapy Services We Offer

Physical Therapy (PT)

Physical therapy focuses on improving strength, balance, mobility, and overall physical function. Our therapists help residents:

  • Recover after surgery, illness, or injury
  • Improve walking and transfers
  • Build strength, endurance and balance.
  • Reduce fall risk
  • Safely return to daily routines

Occupational Therapy (OT)

Occupational therapy helps residents maintain independence with everyday activities that matter most. This may include:

  • Dressing, bathing, and grooming
  • Safe bathroom and bedroom mobility
  • Energy conservation and overall weakness
  • Use of adaptive equipment
  • Fine motor coordination

Speech Therapy (SLP)

Speech-language therapy supports communication, cognition, and safe swallowing. Our speech therapists work with residents who need help with:

  • Swallowing and safe eating
  • Speech and language after stroke or illness
  • Memory, problem-solving, and cognitive skills
  • Voice strength and clarity

A Team Approach to Care

Our licensed therapists and therapy assistants work as part of the Trinity Senior Services care team. They collaborate closely with nursing staff, physicians, and caregivers to ensure therapy supports each resident’s overall care plan.
Most importantly, our therapists take time to understand each resident’s personal goals — whether it’s building strength to return home, getting around safely, or regaining confidence in everyday activities.

What Makes Therapy at Trinity Different

Because therapy is provided right where residents live, care feels natural, consistent, and meaningful.

  • Therapy is integrated into daily routines — not just a gym session
  • Real-life practice in familiar surroundings
  • Close communication between therapy, nursing, and care teams
  • A calm, supportive environment focused on dignity and encouragement
  • Person-centered goals that reflect what matters most to each resident
