Muhammad Shahzad Hussain is the Multifaith Outreach Coordinator with Faith In Place based in Milwaukee. Faith In Place envisions spiritual communities leading the way in healing our relationships with each other and the Earth to build just, resilient, thriving communities, and Shahzad is always active in forming connections and moving the communities towards that goal.

“Action for Our Climate”

In this short presentation, Shahzad will share about how Faith In Place is encouraging communities of faith to take actions to mitigate climate impact. It will be a great opportunity to learn about the impact of small actions taken locally for bigger impact. While he will talk about the importance of energy efficiency for climate, he will also dive into federal opportunities available for the residents of WI to make their homes energy efficient.
