Milwaukee Catholic Home & Trinity Woods // The Longest Day

June 22

Free

On June 22nd, the first day of summer and the day with the most light, we recognize the Longest Day—a day dedicated to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s research and support. This day symbolizes hope and strength. As the sun shines its longest, we “shine a light” on the darkness of Alzheimer’s disease— honoring those living with dementia, supporting caregivers, and remembering loved ones affected by this journey. Across our campuses, and as part of our Everyday Amazing program, we will be recognizing the Longest Day in a variety of engaging ways as we stand in solidarity with those impacted by Alzheimer’s. Together, we affirm our commitment to compassion, education, and advocacy in the fight against this disease.
