Description
We can learn a lot about life, ourselves, and our fellow humans taking a walk in nature. Wisconsinites are blessed with a plethora of public lands with ecosystems ranging from wetland to prairie, pine barrens to hardwood forests. When we visit these wild places, we can witness, listen to, and touch evidence of the Divine connecting with us-but only if we pay attention. Breaking through the silence are sounds that can wake us up to the beauty in diversity of life around us. Moving along the trail, we can observe native examples of all five kingdoms of living organisms and see God’s had at work around us in the detail. During and after the walk, we find the abundant life that God offers us filling us more than before. In this presentation, we will take a virtual walk in the wilds of Wisconsin and hopefully experience the divine along the way. Photos have all been taken by Jim and Mary during their adventures in the wild. Reception to follow.
